Homeless Ministry

Now, Ron, Trish and I went out for the evening, after Trish worked throughout the day getting prepared. She gathered two boxes of puzzles for Otis Woodard, and eight chickens to give out to people we met. Trish decided to make pizzas to give away, so she made seven deluxe pizzas, and bought a case of water.

I had spoken with a friend of mine that hold home bible studies, and agreed to meet him tonight. We met up with him at Vandeventer and Sullivan, where we were able to pray with a young man named Pete, and his family.

We then followed Brother Larry to Moffitt, where we met Minnie Henderson, and eighty year old woman who was housing a number of needy people. After visiting with her for a while, we pray and went on to feed homeless people.

We stopped and visited with Otis. We gave him the puzzles, pizza and chickens. We went to Sonny's and did the same.

After Sonny's we ran into Midnight. We had not seen him in several months. It was a good reunion and he told us how much he missed us. He had a girl name Snowlight with him. She seemed to be high or mentally ill.

Finally, we headed to the brickyard and gave away the remainder of the pizza. All together, we gave away seven. Please pray for all the people we fed. The have many unmet needs, from drug addiction to homelessness. Most of all, the need Jesus. Pray that we are able to lead them to a place where they will seek and find Him and salvation.
